Confetti: The Interviews / #5 Gabrielle

ONE WEEK. ONE WEEK. Confetti opens in ONE WEEK. What more can we say? WE’RE EXCITED FOR YOU TO COME AND PLAY WITH US. And one of our most playful ladies that you’ll meet is Gabrielle…

1. Who are you? My name is Gabrielle Coffee.

2. What city do you live in? I’m currently living in Melbourne but am really excited to be relocating to Berlin, Germany in a few months.

3. Besides making wonderful things with Big One Little One, what do you do? I like to stare at big puffy designer gowns and puppy dogs on the internet all day and I am also taking German lessons, learning fun words like donaudampfschifffahrtskapitaen!

4. What is the best feeling in the world? The feeling you get in your stomach right before something extremely exciting is about to happen, like the moment just before you see your best friend for the first time in a whole year.

5. What gives you the most joy? Hearing someone sing their favourite song (badly and out of key) at the top of their lungs without realising anybody can hear them.

6. (Without giving away any secrets) how would you describe Confetti?  It’s like being allowed to stay up past your bed time for the first time.

7. What are you excited about seeing at Melbourne Fringe? I’m really looking forward to seeing …We Should Quit by Morgan Wilson and Thomas McDonald, being performed at Gasworks.

Confetti by Big One Little One opens on Friday, September 20, at the Melbourne Fringe Hub, North Melbourne Town Hall. 7pm-9pm nightly, except for Mondays.
