1. Who are you? Johanna Williams – lover of theatre. Also of cats.3. Besides making wonderful things with Big One Little One, what do you do? I’m studying (in the loosest of terms) Theatre/Media at CSU. I like making music, reading books, knitting, and making bad first impressions on websites.
4. Who or what do you love? I’m studying (in the loosest of terms) Theatre/Media at CSU. I like making music, reading books, knitting, and making bad first impressions on websites.
5. Describe the most recent time you fell in love with someone/something strange? I think… perhaps it was the last time I was at an airport, sitting in the food court until my gate opened. I realised that I could go anywhere (money notwithstanding), and see anything; that the world was just out there waiting. But last weekend I saw some goats hopping up a mountain, and that was pretty cool too.
6. (Without giving away any secrets) how would you describe I might just take you on the AstroTurf? Sort of like living in a bug terrarium. For just a little while the world is smaller, and a little bit kinder, and everything is colourful – even though you know that it’s winter outside.
7. What song reminds you of AstroTurf? I think I might just say… ‘Tea for Two’ by Pink Martini. ‘Picture me upon your knee / Just tea for two / And two for tea / Just me for you / And you for me alone.’
I might just take you on the AstroTurf opens on Friday July 25 at Bathurst Uniting Church Hall. Tickets at trybooking.com/91594
